Tom Evans Counselling & Psychotherapy, Midleton, east Cork

Counselling & Psychotherapy

Hello, I’m Tom Evans and thanks for visiting this site. At SelfCare I provide a friendly, private and supportive space for my clients – so that you can talk about your concerns in safety. I’m an accredited member of the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MIACP), and I’ve been working with clients in Cork and online nationwide, for 15 years.

My office is located at Unit 4 Watersedge, Riverside Way, Midleton, East Cork, just 20mins from Cork city. I provide short-term solution-focused counselling, as well as long term deeper-healing psychotherapy. I am a certified EMDR (eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing) trauma therapist (certification with EMDR Europe).

I work with individuals presenting a broad range of mental health issues. I work especially with anxiety, trauma (recent, past and childhood trauma), depression, panic attacks, self-esteem / belief / confidence, inner-child recovery, assertiveness, bereavement, suicidation, sexual abuse in childhood, and relationship issues.

See Therapy page for more information.
